Free trial

Every new workspace can start a 14-day free trial that includes:

  • 30 credits (up to 30 phone minutes or 60 web minutes)
  • A phone number
  • Access to all features and integrations, except custom voices
  • No credit card required

Select Start free trial at the end of onboarding or on the subscription screen. Each workspace can use one trial. Trial credits are a hard cap: when they run out, your receptionist stops answering until you upgrade. See Usage and limits.

How credits work

Each plan includes a monthly credit pool shared across all activity:

ActivityCredits
Inbound phone call1.0 per minute
Web widget or booking page conversation0.5 per minute
Staff first call1.0 per minute
Text message0.1 per message

Overage

On paid plans, usage beyond your included credits is billed at your plan’s overage rate: Basic 0.45∗∗,Plus∗∗0.45**, Plus **0.38, and Premium $0.30 per credit.

Upgrading

  1. Go to Settings → Billing and select Manage Subscription, or select Upgrade in the sidebar.
  2. Choose monthly or Annual (Save 2 months) billing, then choose a plan.
  3. If you have a referral code, enter it and select Validate.
  4. Complete payment. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment.

Your plan activates immediately. When upgrading mid-cycle, your remaining credits carry over, up to the new plan’s pool.

Downgrading

When you downgrade to a lower plan:

  • Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Resources beyond the new plan’s limits are deactivated, such as extra phone numbers and locations.
  • To keep your current plan, select Undo downgrade before it takes effect.

Cancellation

To cancel, go to Settings → Billing, select Manage Subscription, and select Cancel plan. You’ll be asked why you’re cancelling. Monthly subscribers may be offered 50% off their next month.

After cancelling:

  • Service continues until the end of your billing period.
  • Your phone numbers are released after a 14-day grace period.
  • Your data is kept in case you resubscribe.

Select Renew subscription before the period ends to undo the cancellation.

Cancelling releases your phone numbers after the grace period. You may get different numbers if you resubscribe.

Payment issues

If a payment fails, a banner asks you to update your payment method. If the billing period ends without payment, your receptionist is paused and the dashboard shows Your payment didn’t go through. Select Update payment method to restore service.
